Aim: To see if coke explodes when a Mentos lolly is dropped into it using different temperatures and different kinds of coke.

Method:
Group 2
Test 1
Test 1
- Heat up 50ml in a beaker of coke ( Using a thermometer heat it to 45 degrees)
- Place the beaker ion the sink and add a mentos.
Test 2
- Add 50 ml of cold diet coke to a beaker
- Add 5 mentos.
- Record the height it reach

6 mentos lollies were dropped into a bottle of coke. The height of the foundation of coke was measured in centimetres.
A mentos was crushed and dropped into the coke. This showed no result.
